Hibernation time!

Just a quick note to say this blog has not been forgotten.  In fact, it keeps me up at night.  There's so much I want to say here, but my heart hasn't been in it.  I have been in a pretty negative mental state lately, and I worry that whatever I say will be tinged in gray.  So I'm going to continue this break from blogging about knitting.  Check my Ravelry page if you're interested in what I'm knitting.  I'll post pictures there soon, now that I have an iPhone (yay!).  If you miss me so much and want to read what I write, I have been interviewing artists for the Western Folklife Center's blog.  It's lots of fun to do, and just about the only thing I'm enjoying at work right now.  Check it out.

Here's what I've been working on lately.

Otto is finished, but the Beekeeper's Quilt is a long term project.  I've got about ten percent of the hexipuffs made.  It's so fun, though, that I think this project will eventually be finished.  Maybe even sooner than I expect.

Trust that if you have a blog, I am still reading your words.

The Beekeeper's quilt looks like so much fun but so very, very long term!!

Sorry to hear your tinges of gray! I know things are collapsing around me and the world is shifting on its axis a bit but I, for one, am slightly relieved to not be surrounded by so much naked greed.

Off to read your interviews!

I hope you enjoy the interviews! Things have gotten a little bit lighter lately. I think there might be a light at the end of this tunnel.
