Pucker

Pucker is done. Remember a long time ago when I was knitting with size-two needles and thought I was knitting on sixes? Well, this time I thought I was knitting on size six, but it was actually a two. So Pucker's neck is a little tight. Besides that, I think the top is lovely. My pictures are bad because I took them myself, but you get the general idea.

There's been some climbing, but not much to report on. I haven't gone in two weeks. I have made new friends, though, which is nice. I also had to buy a new computer, this right after splurging (actually, I'd saved for them) on a washer and dryer. But now I can do everything I want. Except transfer my files from my old computer because the new Mac has only one firewire port and it's not the same as the cord I have.

I'm working on the umbrella and I've started the socks. I might also start a hat for a friend who is leaving soon. I'll report on the chalk bag when I get some action shots. It looks great and I think it will work. I may have to make more--handknit chalk bags for all my friends!

Well, this is a 400 to 800 cable, because the new macs only have the 800. The hard drive I got has the 400 to 400.

I can skype now with video!

Pucker looks great and great on you!

I thought I was the only one that was oblivious to my needle sizes. I mean, I pull out what I think are the right ones but somehow.....it morphs.

I love Pucker on you! What kind of yarn did you use? We got a new mac recently and had a terrible time transferring everything. Collin ended up doing it via Airport Express and it took all day. I can ask him for more info if it helps you.

Thanks! I used the called-for yarn (check out Ravelry for details--I can't remember what it's called).

I ordered a firewire cable. As soon as it comes I'll be set. I can't get into the operating system on my old computer (which is why I got a new one), so I have to do it by the firewire, I think. Say hi to Colin, though.
